Mind reading is now posable.
With all the turmoil in the world, will the advent of AI and Robots help or add to the chaos? I believe most people still think of robots as fictional and are not at all prepared for the mass production that is coming in 2024.

GPT4 Finally Passes the Turing Test—I don't think that's because GPT4 is that smart. After watching what's going on in the world, I would say its due to humans getting dumber. Just a thought.
What is the Turing Test?
A human judge engages in a conversation with both a human and a machine (typically through a text-based interface to avoid visual clues).
If the judge cannot reliably distinguish between the human and the machine based on the conversation, the machine is said to have passed the Turing Test.

Main Course: Robotics
I wonder if this method of manufacturing cars will make cars less expensive for the consumer. I wonder if this method of manufacturing will create less need for humans’ employees. I wonder how long the company will stand by their claim that the robots will be working alongside humans. Nonetheless, it is fascinating to see how they're using AI and robot dogs (by Boston Dynamics) in Hyundai’s new factory in Singapore.
The factory, run by artificial intelligence and robots and called the Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Center Singapore (HMGICS). It can produce and deliver cars in just six hours after an order is placed.
One of the most striking features of the factory is the use of robot dogs to patrol the production floor and inspect the quality of the cars. The robot dogs are made by Boston Dynamics, an American engineering firm that Hyundai acquired in 2020. The robot dogs, which resemble real dogs, can walk, run, jump, and climb stairs. They are equipped with cameras and sensors that allow them to detect and avoid obstacles, as well as communicate with humans and other robots.
Remind me later to talk about the fact that Boston Dynamics is owned by Hyundai. And should I start buying Hyundai stock?

Brain Reading
Dessert: AI reading your Brain!!!
Meta is indeed making significant progress in the field of brain-computer interfaces (BCIs), which have the potential to revolutionize the way we interact with computers. In a recent study, researchers at Meta AI were able to use AI to decode brain activity with an accuracy of 80%, which is a significant improvement over previous methods.
This breakthrough could have a wide range of applications, including helping people with disabilities communicate, control devices with their minds, and even learn new skills. However, it is important to note that this technology is still in its early stages of development, and there are many ethical concerns that need to be addressed before it can be widely used.
For example, it is important to ensure that people have control over their own brain data and that this data is not used in ways that could harm them. It is also important to consider the potential impact of this technology on society, such as the possibility that it could be used to manipulate people's thoughts or behavior. I should say that it will, at some point, be used to manipulate thoughts and behaviors. But how do we stop it?
Walking again
SFU Robotics engineers have developed a self-balancing exoskeleton for people with motion disabilities. The exoskeleton is designed to improve mobility, allowing users to talk and walk freely. The exoskeleton has become an accepted part of Chloe Angus's daily routine, who is the director of lived experience at Human Emotion, after she discovered the device from two professors who were working on it. The exoskeleton enables squad motion, allowing users to transfer themselves easily from the device to other positions, such as a wheelchair or bathroom. Additionally, the device includes a dance mode that allows users to control their body movements without a controller, providing freedom with their dance. The exoskeleton has the potential to improve the quality of life of people with motion disabilities, enabling them to engage in activities they could not previously do.
